Fanfic Idea —-> A Step Out of Reality
Like the forbidden love of Romeo and Juliet, the story of Liam Payne and Elizabeth Banks couldn’t be farther from the world famous play. Although this story takes place in the 1960’s and not the time of the black plague, there is one thing that is separating the two apart.
In the spring of 1962, 23-year-old Elizabeth Banks has her first job after searching for months as a maid for a wealthy family in Baltimore. After her first day on the job of cleaning and cooking for her employer, she meets Liam, the son of the house. He was tall with brown-ish hair and beautiful brown eyes. He was only 22 and had come home from college for the weekend to have some of his mama’s cooking. The moment they bumped into each other, it was as though the two were drawn to each other instantly. The pair suddenly falls for each other, despite what their parents or the world says. Elizabeth and Liam embark on a journey that teaches them the true meaning of love, civil rights and the importance of equality.
